Wilma Jean (Ealy) Dorsey

Wilma Jean (Ealy) Dorsey age 91 of Graysville, PA passed away on October 2, 2021 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.

She was born on October 16, 1929 in East Finley Township in Washington County to the late Wayne Wright and Martha Gertrude (Kahlbaugh) Ealy, then moved to Graysville, PA in 1954.

Wilma was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church, and former Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a family babysitter and a former member of the Graysville V.F.D. Auxiliary.

She was a Postmaster in Graysville, PA for 21 years upon her retirement in 1994.

Wilma married Ralph Eugene Dorsey on October 16, 1948 and was happily married for 61 years before his passing in January 2009.

She is survived by three children, Barbara (Gordon) McCracken of Lordstown, OH, Daniel (Debra) Dorsey of Dallas, WV, and Phyllis (Rudy) Yurkovich of Prosperity, PA, one brother, Elmer (Judy) Ealy of Taylorstown, PA, one sister, Mary Ellen (Robert) Livingood of Graysville, PA. Eleven grandchildren, Amy (Kevin) Middleton, Dennis McCracken, Andrea (Vince) Taddei, Connie (Jake) Bloom, Tammy (John) Huff, Carrie (Billy) Riggle, Brandon (Amber) Dorsey, Vince (Jennifer Simile) Junkins, Ashley (Casey) Hill, Rudy (Jamie) Yurkovich and Leigh Ann (Matt) Shrader, nineteen great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Cunningham, Gertrude Ealy, two brothers, George and Wright Ealy and one granddaughter, Jody McCracken.

Friends will be received on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11am with Pastor Lanny Hewitt officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in West Finley, PA.
