William (Bill) C. Ealy, 74, of East Finley Twp., Washington Co. Pa. died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 in his home following a lingering illness.He was born June 20, 1937 in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Ralph Clayton and Thelma Flint Ealy and had resided in East Finley Twp. since 1958.Mr. Ealy was member and former Sunday school teacher (adult class) of the Fairmount United Methodist Church in East Finley.He enjoyed farming, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and also enjoyed building model boats and was a former coach of the church softball team.Mr. Ealy was 1955 graduate of Trinity High SchoolHe was a former employee of Sprowls Country Hardware, Six Amoco and Petro Oil Co. all in Claysville prior to retirement in 1991.Mr. Ealy was peacetime veteran of the U.S. Army.On July 26, 1958 he married Norma Jean White who survives.Also surviving are a brother, Stephen Ealy of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his parents are three brothers, his twin brother, Buddy Ealy who died at birth, Gary and Robert Ealy.
