Wilbert John Mankey

Wilbert John Mankey, 85, of Oak Forest, Pa., went to be with his lord on Monday, March 23, 2015 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa.
He was born March 1, 1930 in Morris Twp. (Time), Greene Co., Pa, a son of the late John Clutter and Gladys Verona Ealy Mankey and had resided in the Oak Forest area for most of his life.
Mr. Mankey was a former employee of Wilson Stave Mill and a custodian for his brother Jake Mankey for many years.
He enjoyed coon hunting and was a lifetime member of the Greene County Coon Hunters Association, a dog lover, enjoyed wood working, and pulling wagons in all of the parades in Waynesburg.
Surviving is a brother, T.J (Jake), husband of Carol Mankey of Rotunda West, Fl.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother, Arthur (Gene) Mankey.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Rosemont Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Greene Co. Humane Society, 183 Jefferson Rd., Waynesburg, Pa., 15370 and the Rush Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 388, Rogersville, Pa., 15359.
