Vernon Conklin

Vernon Wayne Conklin, 73, of Aurora, CO, and formerly of Greene Co. Pa. died Thursday, July 30, 2009.He was born June 9, 1936 in Washington Co. Pa. a son of the late Howard C. and Mildred Yoders Conklin.Mr. Conklin was a former member of the Enon Baptist Church and was a 1954 graduate of Waynesburg High School.He was a former resident of Morris Twp. (Time), Greene Co. and had been employed in many locations across the nation prior to retiring in the state of Colorado in 2007.Surviving are a son, Donald Fike, of Prosperity; a sister, Jane Noble of West Alexander; a special cousin, Donna Faye, wife of William Bennett of Morris Twp. (Time); a niece, Candice Noble-Greathouse of Elm Grove, W.Va.; nephew, William (Willie) Noble II of Claysville and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother, Jay V. Conklin.
