Todd D. Post, 52, of Cuero, Texas and formerly of Claysville and Washington, Pa. died at 1 a.m. August 2, 2015 in his home after battling a lingering illness.
He was born September 7, 1962 in Washington, Pa. a son of John D. Post and Celestine Hancher Post Jeanes and was a 1980 graduate of McGuffey High School.
Mr. Post formerly attended the Claysville United Presbyterian Church.
He had been employed as a journeyman spacer in pipeline construction for the past 35 years with Local 798 of Tulsa, OK. and was elected to represent his local as a delegate to the annual United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters of the U.S. and Canada (UA) Convention in Las Vegas in 2006 and 2011.
Mr. Post was well liked and respected among his fellow workers, and applied a great work ethic.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved gardening, barbequing, Sudoku and crossword puzzles, was a loving son who would light up a room with his smile.
Surviving are his parents, Celestine Hancher Post Jeanes of New Carlisle, IN.; his father, John D., husband of Patricia Post of Avella; a brother, Troy, husband of Gabriela Post of New Carlisle; two nephews and one niece; several aunts, uncles and cousins; a step-sister, Lori Gordon of Washington; friend and caregiver, Margaret.
Deceased are a brother, John Barry Post who died in infancy; a step-brother and best friend, Alan Gordon who died August 8, 2014; maternal grandparents, George (Dutch) and Margaret (Peg) Brownlee Hancher; paternal grandparents, Clark and Mary Dutton Post.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Todds life to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 in the Claysville United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jerome Creech and Rev. Meade Lacock co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Claysville Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
