Thomas P. Cunningham, 57, of Wind Ridge, Pa. died at 1:16 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.VA. after suffering a severe stroke.He was born February 21, 1948 in Glen Dale, W.Va. a son of the late Hubert Perry and Melinda Irene Polen Cunningham and had been a resident of Cameron for most of his life prior to moving to Richhill Twp. Greene County, Pa. in 1986.Mr. Cunningham was a 1966 graduate of Cameron High School.He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War where he served as a Private with the US Army Co A 4th Bn 68th ARMOR. Mr. Cunningham was employed as a truck driver with Burns Drilling of Wind Ridge for over 25 years and was a mail truck driver for Buck Cunningham. He was a member of the American Legion Post 18 of Cameron, W.Va.On October 15, 1969, he married Loretta Jean Blake Cunningham who survives.Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Kevin D. Cunningham of Wind Ridge; a daughter, Bonnie J. wife of Mike Finch of Bristoria; four grandchildren, Nathan M. and Kevin D. Cunningham, Jr., Wyatt and Amber Finch; two brothers, Ronald (Buck) Cunningham of Rock Lick, W.Va. and Robert (Jerry) Cunningham of Cameron, W.Va.; two sisters, Dorothy (Sonny) Toland of Calis, W.Va. and Donna McMillan of Cameron, W.Va.Deceased in addition to his parents are a son, Timothy Wayne Cunningham who died March 5, 2003.Military graveside rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 330, VFW Post 4753 and DAV Post 123, all of Waynesburg.
