Ruby Rosena Fox

Ruby Rosena (Chedester) Fox, age 91, of Waynesburg, passed away peacefully with her daughter and son-in-law Warren by her side at 5:30 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016.

Born on July 21, 1925, in Claysville, PA, she is the daughter of the late William and Ola (Lindley) Chedester.

Ruby loved helping with the cattle on their farm when she was younger. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Ruby's hobbies also included square dancing and collecting cookies jars.

She is the Mother of one Daughter, Norma Jean (Warren) Wise of Waynesburg, PA; two Grandsons, Joey Dee Wise, of Washington, PA and Douglas Jay (Susan) Wise, of Sycamore, PA; one Granddaughter Jessica Lyn (Bill) Smith, of Fairmont, WV; for Great Grandsons, Ryan Anthony (Holly) Wise, Sean Allen (Kendal) Wise and Cory Brandon Wise, all of New Concord, OH, and Lloyd H. Smith, III., of Point Marian, PA; four Great-Great Grandsons, Jaxon and Shane Wise, Kristopher and Kaiden Wise; one Great-Great Granddaughter, Kinsley Wise and one like a Great-Great Granddaughter Kaleigh; two sisters, Betty Boyd and Jean Sapon; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Fox, her daughter, Betty Louise Thomas, and a son, Richard Duane Thomas.

Friends will be received on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 10 A.M.-1 P.M. at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA, 15359. (724) 499-5181. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December, 22, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Gary Gibson, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, PA.
