Robert Yeager Sr

Robert Wayne Yeager, Sr., 62, of Pittsburgh and formerly of Greene Co. Pa. died unexpectedly at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in his home.Mr. Yeager was born October 23, 1950 in Franklin Twp., Greene Co., Pa. a son of the late Donald Junior and Kathryn Jane Eddy Yeager and has been a resident of the Pittsburgh area for over 40 years.He attended the former Waynesburg High School.Mr. Yeager enjoyed working outdoors, had pride in a personal greenhouse and the time with his family.He was employed by the Meinert Landscaping Company from 1975 until 2003, and was also employed as a cemetery caretaker for over 23 years in the Kether Torah Congregation Cemetery and the Cneth Israel Cemetery, both in Pittsburgh prior to retiring in 2012.On December 31,1974 he married Patricia Carol Roupe who survives.Also surviving are two daughters, Tricia, wife of Richard Mortimer of Pittsburgh and Belinda Yeager of Charleroi; a son, Robert W. Yeager, Jr., husband of Angella Yeager of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Ricky, Patrick, Johnathan and Kaitlyn Mortimer, Samantha and Robert W. Yeager III, and Abreana Leinhart; four brothers, Thomas, husband of Bonnie Yeager, Jerry and Ed Yeager all of Wayne Twp. Greene Co., Rex (Bo) Yeager of Jefferson; seven sisters, Suzanne, wife of Archie Crawford of Brave, Roseanne Yeager of Spraggs, Lulu Cumberledge of Waynesburg, Amelia Temple and Betty Jane Warnick both of Waynesburg, Annabelle Yeager of Wayne Twp. and Cindy Grim of Oak Forest; several nieces and nephews.
