Robert Cumberledge

Robert C. Cumberledge, 69, of New Martinsville, W.Va. and formerly of Aleppo, Pa. died at 6:05 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011 in the Wetzel Co. Hospital in New Martinsville.He was born November 16, 1941 in Sutton, W.Va. a son of the late Charles James Cumberledge and Mary Jane Lyon Cumberledge Whitlatch.Mr. Cumberledge had resided in the Aleppo area all his life prior to moving to New Martinsville in 1992.He was a 1959 graduate of the Pittsburgh School for the Deaf and enjoyed leatherwork and farming.Surviving is a sister, Grace Riggle of New Martinsville; two nephews, William Craig Cumberledge of Pittsburgh and Brandon Heath Cumberledge of Harrisburg; two nieces, Tammy Jo Johnson of Sardis, Ohio and Shelly Ann West of Paden City, W.Va.; five great nephews and four great nieces; two great great nephews.Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother, William Cumberledge; maternal grandparents, William and Grace Lough Lyon.
