Robert Clifford Raymond

Robert Clifford Raymond, age 76, of Inwood, WV, formerly of Waynesburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017, while under the care of the Martinsburg VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV.

Born on June 12, 1940, in Bridgeton, NJ, he is the son of the late Raymond Joseph and Mary Jane (Waddington) Raymond.

Robert graduated in 1957 from Bridgeton High School, Bridgeton, NJ. He served as a Seaman in the United States Navy from 1957-1962. Robert retired from Winchester Western Railroad after 17 years of employment as a railroad car worker. He was a former member of the Bristoria Baptist Church in Holbrook, PA. Robert attended the Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church and Maplewood Baptist Church, both in Martinsburg, WV. He enjoyed carpentry in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Tennis, who he married on May 16, 2016; his step-children, Holly (William) Stanley; step grandchildren, Sarah (Eric) Finch and Benjamin (Kayla) Stanley; step great-grandchildren, Thomas Finch, Brooklyn Finch, Hailey Stanley, Remington Stanley and Gauge Stanley; his siblings, John (Leeta) Raymond, Sue Duty, Virginia Raymond, Donna Cooper, Mary Hooks, Ronnie Raymond and Barbara Raymond.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elizabeth Raymond and Joseph Raymond.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Rosemont Cemetery, Center Twp., PA with Pastor Gary Crawford, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
