Robert B. Brownlee, 71, of Oswego, New York and formerly of Claysville, Pa. died unexpectedly in home on Sunday April 7, 2013 of natural causes.He was born October 29, 1941 in Washington, Pa. a son of Opal Whiteman Brownlee of Claysville and the late Kenneth Blair Brownlee and had resided in Rochester, NY and Columbus, Ohio for several years prior to moving to Oswego.Mr. Brownlee was 1960 graduate of the former Claysville High School and a 1962 graduate of the former Western Pa. Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh with a certification in drafting and design.He was a member of the N.R.A.Mr. Brownlee was employed as a sub-contractor(Jobber) for several firms including, ATT Automotive, the University of Rochester(NY)Lasaer Lab and Liberty Tool Corp., all in Rochester. He was a peacetime veteran with U.S. Air Force Reserve in Pittsburgh.Surviving in addition to his mother, is a sister, Carol L. Brownlee, and a brother, Thomas, husband of Sandra Brownlee all of Claysville.
