Robert Barth

Robert W. Barth, 74, died at 8:20 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Ewing Manor-West P.C. Home in Rogersville, Pa. after being in failing health for the past several years.He was born January 4, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pa. a son of the late William and Margaret Matilda Janz Barth.Mr. Barth had resided in Waynesburg prior to moving to Rogersville in 2010.He was a graduate of the Pemberton Twp. (Pemberton, N.J.) High School.Mr. Barth was a peacetime veteran where he served as an Airman Second Class with the U.S. Air Force in the 119th Tactical Fighter Squadron.He was a former member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges, both in Waynesburg and was a member of the American Legion Post 330 also in Waynesburg.Mr. Barth was last employed as a carpenter with Barth Construction.Surviving are two brothers, David, husband of Theresa Barth of Graysville and Frederick, husband of Roberta Barth of Livingston, Texas; a nephew and a niece; several great nieces and nephews.
