Ola "Cretta" Hull

Ola “Cretta” Hull, age 69, of West Elizabeth, PA, passed away at home, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.

Born November 7, 1946, in Wind Ridge, PA., she is the daughter of the late Austin Hull Jr. and Udoris (Gaines) Hull Turner.

Cretta graduated from West Greene High School in 1964 and continued her education at the Community College of Allegheny County, graduating in 1989. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for Jefferson Regional Medical Center, until she retired in 2014. She was also a former employee of Greenway Manufacturing and previous owner/operator of The Aleppo Store. Cretta was a long time resident of West Elizabeth, PA., where she lived since 1985. She was baptized at Bates Fork Baptist Church, in Sycamore, PA.

Cretta attended the Senior Center in Clairton, PA. She was a Star Trek fan and enjoyed watching it regularly. She was an avid reader, and loved going to the beach. Cretta liked going bowling with family and friends. She loved cats and enjoyed their company. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to add a special Thank You to all of the caregivers who provided Cretta with the care she needed.

She is survived by one brother Robert (Jane) Hull, of Sycamore, PA; one sister Jean Wise, of New Freeport, PA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Lee Hull and Ronald Alan Turner.

Friends and Family are welcome on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 2 P.M.-6 P.M. at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA. 15359. 724-499-5181 where a Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Vernon Kay Berdine, officiating.
