N. Carol Bissett, 77, of Center Twp., Greene County, Pa. died unexpectedly at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015 in her home.
She was born February 2, 1938, in Marshall County (Rock Lick), W.Va., a daughter of the late Jehu Alberto and Della Beryl Riggle Campbell and had been a resident of Center Twp. since 1961.
Mrs. Bissett was a member and elder of the Unity Presbyterian Church at Graysville, Pa., and also a member of the Women of the Moose in Waynesburg.
She was a 1956 graduate of the former Center Twp. High School in Rogersville.
On September 7, 1957 she married Walter Earl Shorty Bissett who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Peggy Sue Bissett and a son, Ricky E., husband of Joyce Bissett, both of Center Twp.; three grandchildren, Cody, Kory and Tabatha Bissett; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Kermit, husband of Roma Campbell of Gibsonia and Phillip (Phid), husband of Marlene Campbell of Wind Ridge; a sister-in-law, Pat Campbell of Erie; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents are four sisters, Mary McClellan, Ruth Rayle, Wilda Ewing and Evelyn Wirtner; four brothers, William, Frederick, Ronald and Richard Campbell.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or funeral service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to attend a public memorial service to be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. with Pastor David Lowe and Rev. Walt Stevenson (Ret.), co-officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either, the American Heart Association, your local American Cancer Society or the Unity Presbyterian Church.
