Mardene "Jean" Miller

Mardene “Jean” Miller, age 69, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Premier Washington Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Center.

Born May 20, 1954, in Morgantown, WV, daughter of the late Lee Roy and Martha (Howard) Miller.

Jean had been a resident of Waynesburg since 1997. She graduated from West Greene High School in 1972. Jean was a member of the Waynesburg Ladies Auxiliary and a life-time member of the Blacksville Senior Center. She was employed with Morgan Shirt Co. as a seamstress for 12 years until her retirement in 1997. Jean was also employed with H&R Block in Waynesburg as a Tax Preparer for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking, and spending time with her many friends.

Jean is survived by a brother, Johnie Lee (Karen) Miller, of Wadestown, WV and a nephew, Adam F. Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Jane Miller.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 11-1 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181, where a funeral service will be held directly after with Pastor Steve Edwards, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Wana, WV.
