Mabel Kerns-Clark

Mabel Kerns Clark, 87, formerly of Graysville, Pa. died at 8:20 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 in the Pleasant Ridge Manor-East, in Erie, Pa. after being in failing health for the past several years. Mrs. Clark was born May 22, 1927 in Waynesburg, Pa. a daughter of the late David Monford and Delsie Kerr Kerns and had resided in Greene County all her life prior to moving to Erie in 2000. She was a former member of the Waynesburg V.F.W. auxiliary. On July 16, 1954 she married Kenneth Earl Clark who died February 15, 2000. Surviving are three daughters, Wendy E. Morris, Bonnie Jean Haddix and Rose M. Knisely; two sons, Melvin and Roger Dale Clark; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a daughter, Carole E. Cady; a son, William Daniel Clark; a granddaughter, Jessica Morris Petrie; two brothers, Robert K. and Russell J. Kerns. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 with Pastor Kenneth Curfman officiating. Private interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.
