Lorrie Ann (Schultz) Hewitt

Lorrie Ann (Schultz) Hewitt, age 64, of Graysville, passed away unexpectedly in her home, Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Born May 5, 1959, in Scranton, the daughter of the late William J. and Alice (Jermyn) Schultz, Jr.

She was a Greene County resident since 2001 when she moved from Scranton. She graduated from West Scranton High School in 1977. Lorrie was a manager at the Graysville Store for 16 years. She loved nature, playing Bejeweled Blitz, Tetris, and reading. Lorrie was very spiritual and believed in Karma. Mental Health was very important to her. She was stubborn and independent. Lorrie was the best grandma and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by five children, Nick (Mari) Stolten, of Bangor, Eric (Cristina) Stolten, of Bangor, Matt (Amanda) Stolten, of Scranton, Sara (Casey) Hewitt-Gaines, of Carmichaels, and Breanna Hewitt, of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Layla Gaines, Coraline and Jasmine Brown; brother, Mark (Jacque) Schultz, of Scranton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Kowalski.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 5-7 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181, where a funeral service will be held directly after.
