Lillian A. Grinage, 89, of Waynesburg, Pa. and formerly of Holbrook, Pa. died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born March 15, 1919 in Wetzel Co., W.Va. a daughter of George Washington and Pearl Wilda McMasters Wyckoff and had resided in the Holbrook area from 1939 and until moving to Waynesburg (Franklin Twp.) in 1984. Mrs. Grinage was a member of the Holbrook Christian Church where she served as the church secretary and treasurer and on the official board of the church and was also a former Sunday school assistant superintendent. She was a charter member of the Busy Bee (Thrift Shop), Inc. in Waynesburg. Mrs. Grinage was a former employee of G.C. Murphy Co. and the Thompson Christian Book store both in Waynesburg and the Centerville Clinic, and was last employed as a secretary and teacher's aid with the Head Start program. On March 10, 1939 she married William Henry Grinage who died April 13, 1983. Surviving is a sister, Alice R. Hoge of Elizabethtown, KY. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are three sisters, Elizabeth Bosworth, May Evelyn Church and Mildred B. Keenan; two brothers, Raymond G. and Harold M. Wyckoff.
