Leah Jane Robey, age 74, of Graysville, PA, passed away and went to be with the lord, Wednesday, November 15, 2017, with loving family by her side. She was a breast cancer survivor, but lost her two-year battle with ALS.
Leah was born January 21, 1943, the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (McCollough) Coffield, she spent most of her life in the Graysville, PA area.
Mrs. Robey worked as a school bus driver for the West Greene School District for more than 20 years. She was formerly employed as a meat packer for Baldwin’s in Graysville, PA.
She found great joy in sharing her passion for baking and cooking with her loved ones and hosting family gatherings. Leah enjoyed hunting, camping and being outdoors. One of her passions was taking care of her beautiful flowers, which she took pride in. She was highly admired by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Richard (Dick) Robey, of Graysville, PA. She was also the cherished mother of four children, Terry (Debbie) Cooper, of Graysville, PA, Cindy (Ronnie) Eddy, of Iuka, WV, Patty (Donnie) Reynolds, of Cameron, WV, and Marie “Cricket” (Owen) Coffman, of Graysville, PA; two step-children, Ardene Ash and Robin Ribera. Leah was also the dear grandma of 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Jacobs, of Wind Ridge, PA, and Sandra Whipkey, of Graysville, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one step son, Steve Robey, and an infant brother.
Friends will be received on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2-7 P.M. at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA., 15359 Phone: (724) 499-5181. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God, 4131 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Waynesburg, PA., 15370, with Rev. Jim Galbraith and Pastor Paul Thomas., co-officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Wind Ridge, PA.
