Kenneth Cumberledge

Kenneth E. Cumberledge, 62, of Washington Twp., Greene Co. and formerly of Waynesburg and Brave died at 4:30 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 in his home after battling a cancer related illness since 1993 but seriously ill for the past year.He was born April 17, 1948 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of the late Leroy and Helen Elizabeth Morris Cumberledge.Mr. Cumberledge was a former employee of Green Lawn Care and was last employed by the former John Howard Motors in Waynesburg.He enjoyed hunting and woodworking and was a member of the Handyman group.On February 17, 1968 he married Lulu Virginia Yeager who survives.Also surviving is a son, Donald Cumberledge, and two daughters, Kathryn Phillips and Jenny Rebecca, wife of Albert King, all of Waynesburg; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Pate of North Carolina and Sandra, wife of Calvin Joiner of Detroit, Michigan; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his parents is a son, David E. Cumberledge who died August 5, 1999.
