Juanita Strope

Juanita J. "Sis" Strope, 82, of Cameron, W. Va. died at 2:00 a. m. on Friday, April 3, 2009.She was born June 6, 1926 in Woodruff, W. Va., a daughter of the late George Franklin and Ethel (Stanley) Whipkey.Mrs. Strope resided in Cameron most of her life where she was a member of the Cameron Baptist Chapel and the Moose Lodge No. 758 of Cameron.Surviving are two sons, Richard S. Strope and his wife, Shirley of Cameron and Steven L. Strope and his wife, Amy of Manassas, Va.; a daughter, Bonnie L. Riffle and her husband, Donald of Aleppo, Pa. ; six grandchildren, Ricki Jo Fazio, Shawn M. Strope, Melissa D. Woods, Curtis P. Riffle, Alison L. Strope and Benjamin E. Strope and four great grandchildren, Charlotte M. Fazio, Skylar M. Strope, Mason S. Woods and Maddox C. Woods. Deceased are four brothers, Edgar Whipkey, James Whipkey, Gibson Whipkey and Jacob Whipkey.Mrs. Strope was the last of her immediate family.
