Joshua Owen Coffman

December 17, 1996 — August 2, 2023

Waynesburg

In Loving Memory of Joshua Owen Coffman, who passed unexpectedly on August 2, 2023.

Joshua was a beacon of kindness, compassion, and love, touching the lives of everyone he encountered. Joshua's caring nature knew no bounds, and his infectious laugh could brighten even the darkest of days. With a child-like heart, he accepted everyone and looked at the world with innocence and wonder.

Joshua was born on December 17, 1996, in Washington, the cherished son of Owen and Marie “Cricket” (Cooper), Coffman of Waynesburg. Above all, Joshua adored his family with all his heart. They were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He had an innate ability to make each family member feel as though they were important and loved. He filled our lives with laughter, love, and cherished memories that will forever live on in our hearts.

Joshua was a Greene County resident his whole life. He graduated from West Greene High School in 2015. Joshua was employed with Alliance Technical Services in Houston, PA as a Field Technician for the past year. He had traveled to Houston, TX and received many certifications in safety and globally harmful systems. He also loved to travel to the beach to search for the perfect shell or rock, often picturing them in his mind in some type of jewelry. Joshua was a great artist, but was always shy about sharing his work.

Joshua had a passion for life and a deep love for his family and the outdoors. He found solace and joy in nature, often spending his free time playing games with his friends and nephews. He enjoyed taking long walks on the beach and through the woods, always seeking the picture-perfect sunset. Each sunset he captured was a testament to his appreciation for the beauty that surrounded us, reflecting his boundless spirit.

His adventurous soul embraced every opportunity to explore new places, and he treasured the simple moments spent with his loved ones. Whether it was the rustle of leaves beneath their feet or the gentle caress of a cool breeze, Joshua found peace in nature's embrace, especially when shared with his family.

Joshua's true essence was in his kind and caring demeanor towards his family and others. He was always willing to lend a hand to those he loved. His genuine enthusiasm was infectious, inspiring his family to appreciate the wonders of the world alongside him.

Joshua's departure leaves a void in our lives, but we are comforted by the memories of his vibrant spirit, the love he had for his family, and the joy he brought into our lives. As we honor his memory, let us carry forth his compassion for beauty, laughter, and love by cherishing the moments we spend beneath the open sky with family by our side.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three siblings who will miss him, Chelsey (Mike) Holloway, of Waynesburg, PA, Shawnee (Clay) Mason, of Houston, PA, and Jeremy (Jessie) Coffman, of West Finley, PA; grandmother, Lovie Coffman, of Sycamore, PA; Nieces and nephews, whom he adored, Chloe Holloway, Michael Holloway, Caden Mason, Reagan Holloway, Jocelyn Holloway, Kendyl Mason, and Olivia Holloway. He also has many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents David Coffman, Dick and Leah Robey, and David Cooper; and his Aunt Kay Roupe.

May his love for adventure, his kindness, and his zest for life forever guide us on our own journeys. We say farewell, Joshua, knowing that you will forever be loved and remembered.
