John H. Galloway, Jr., 72, of Wind Ridge, Pa. died at 12 noon, Sunday, July 26, 2015 in his home.
He was born August 1, 1943 in Sycamore, Pa. a son of the late John Harry Galloway, Sr. and Olive Audrene Tharp Galloway.
Mr. Galloway enjoyed welding, camping, hunting, fishing and was a fan of John Wayne movies.
He was a former employee of The Mitchell Plant in Moundsville, W.Va. and was last employed with Burns Drilling of Wind Ridge.
Surviving are three sons, John H. Galloway, III, husband of Jennifer Galloway and James, husband of Tracy Galloway, both of Moundsville, W.VA. and Michael, husband of Candy Galloway of Aleppo; two daughters, Jonnie Lou, wife of Anthony Bottinelli of McDonald and Autumn Galloway of Titusville, Fl.; a daughter-in-law, Robin Cook Galloway of Moundsville, W.Va.; seventeen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Deceased in addition to his parents is a son, Daniel Galloway; his companion of several years, Brenda Lou Beers Snyder, who died March 14, 2012.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
