Homer Duane Breese

Homer Duane Breese, 78, of Claysville, (Buffalo Twp.), Pa. died at 4:58 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Twp., after being in failing health since June.
He was born November 11, 1936 in Washington, Pa. a son of the late Howard Oliver and Alice Jane Mounts Breese.
Mr. Breese had resided in the Buffalo Twp. area most of his life prior to moving to the Canfield, Ohio area where he resided for 24 years, prior to returning to Washington County in 2012.
He had been a self-employed dairy farmer in Buffalo Twp. and Ohio for many years and was last employed as a press operator for YSD Industries in Youngstown, Ohio for 14 years prior to retiring in 2003, passing on a tremendous work ethic to his children.
Mr. Breese was formerly married to Emma Jo Martin Breese of Claysville who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Jeff, husband of Vicky Breese and Keith Breese, companion of Beth Noel both of Claysville, and Bradley, husband of Kim Breese of Phoenixville, Pa.; three daughters, Kathy, wife of John Shape of Downingtown, Tammy, wife of Tim Pattison and Lorena, wife of Tom Pattison both of Claysville; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; six sisters, Esther, wife of Gerald Thomas of Claysville, Estella Martin of Washington, Laura, wife of Jerry Main of Claysville, Dorothy Clark of Berlin Center, Ohio, Shirley, wife of Frank Lindley and Patricia Westwood, both of Phoenix, AZ.; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents are a son, John Ray Carr; a grandson, Stephen Breese; a brother, Robert Breese and a sister who died in infancy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Rolling Hills Chapel, (Buffalo Twp.), where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2015 with Pastor Jill Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rolling Hills Chapel, 214 Timber Lake Rd., Claysville, Pa. 15323.
