Helen Gorby

Helen Marie Gorby, 75, of Cameron, W.Va. died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the Cameron Health Care Center, Cameron, W.Va. after being failing health for the past seven years. She was born in Graysville, Pa. a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Pearle Yates Moniger and had resided in the Cameron area for the past 34 years. Mrs. Gorby was a graduate of the former Center Twp. High School in Rogersville, Pa. Surviving are her husband, Alvin M. Gorby; two daughters, Inez, wife of Dave Ratcliff of Charleston, W.Va. and Amy, wife of James Cunningham of Aleppo, Pa.; two step-daughters, April Dallison of Hundred, W.Va., Paula Gorby of Deep Valley, Pa.; a step-son, Timothy Gorby of Carmichaels; four grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are a daughter, Vickie Ealy; a sister, Ruth Nesbit; a step-son, Alvin S. Gorby. At the request of the family all services will be private.
