Franklin (Frank) Lee Montgomery, Sr.

Franklin (Frank) L. Montgomery, Sr., 55, of Holbrook, Pa. died unexpectedly at 10:35 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 in his home.
Mr. Montgomery was born September 23, 1959 in Washington, Pa. a son of Ethel Lea Montgomery Zimmerman Gray of Waynesburg, Pa. and the late Franklin Delano Zimmerman and had resided in Waynesburg prior to moving to Center Twp. in 2013.
He was formerly employed as a general farm hand in Greene County and was a self-employed residential construction worker for several years prior to retiring in 1998 due to ill health.
Mr. Montgomery enjoyed fishing, hunting and listening to country and classic rock music.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are three sons, Franklin L. Montgomery, Jr., and his wife Terri Montgomery of Markleysburg, Jason, husband of Carrie Montgomery of Youngstown, Ohio and Charles Montgomery of Mt. Morris, Pa.; two daughters, Lisa Montgomery of Waynesburg and Star Clayton of Spraggs; three brothers, Chad, husband of Judy Gray of West Finley, Raymond, husband of Lisa Zimmerman of Youngstown, Oh., and Christopher Zimmerman of Cleveland, Oh.; two sisters, Susan Jones, of Spraggs and Connie, wife of Eric Miller of Holbrook; three grandchildren, Anthony, Daniel and Christina Montgomery; three step-grandchildren, Jessica, Nicole and Joshua Harker; several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015, in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home at PO Box 388, Rogersville, Pa. 15359.
