Frank R. (Rick) King

Frank R. (Rick) King, 72, of Jefferson, Pa. and formerly of Wind Ridge, Pa. died on Monday, November 10, 2025 in the Waynesburg Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Waynesburg, Pa. after being in declining health since March 2025.

He was born in Waynesburg, Pa. on May 14, 1953 a son of the late Frank Bowers and Ilah Hope Slonaker King and had resided in Greene County all his life.

Mr. King was a 1971 graduate of West Greene High School.

He was a former employee of R.G Johnson, P.J. Dick and Trumble Construction Co., and was last employed as a truck driver for the Royal Flush Waste Water Company prior to retiring in 2014.

Mr. King enjoyed guns and classic cars.

On September 11, 1982 he married Linda Lea King who died August 6, 2023.

Surviving are two sons, Mathew King of N. Versailles, Pa and Marcus King, of Jefferson, Pa. with whom he shared a home; a daughter, Melissa (Carl) Walker, of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandchildren, Adrianna and Michael Walker, Trinity Viscardi and Catalaya Dilts; a sister, Sandra K. King of Shepherdstown, W. Va.;

At the request of the deceased family, all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC, Rogersville, Pa.
