Frances Anderson

Frances M. Anderson, 75, of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Freeport Twp. Greene Co. Pa., died unexpectedly at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa.She was born September 16, 1936 in Richhill Twp., Greene Co. Pa. a daughter of the late Howard Ray and Lena Virginia Whipkey Anderson.Ms. Anderson had been a resident of the Carmichaels area since October 1994 where she resided at the former Stewart's Personal Care Home and in the private residence of Aldine Rose.She attended the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church while residing the Freeport Twp. area.Ms. Anderson enjoyed photography and embroidery.She is survived by a sister, Marcia, wife of Larry Sterling of Jackson Twp.; two brothers, Ralph, husband of Kay Anderson of Freeport Twp. and Doyle, husband of Ruby Whipkey of Palm Bay, Fl.; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents is her step father, Frederick H. Hennen; two sisters, Helen Reed and Beverly Cumberledge; a brother, Donald Eugene Anderson.
