F. Romayne Booth, 96, of Waynesburg, Pa. and formerly of Wind Ridge, Pa. died at 7:40 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 in the Golden Living Center-South Hills.She was born June 3, 1914 in Amwell Twp. Washington Co. Pa. a daughter of the late Sheldon William and Hallie Florence Knestrick Booth.Ms. Booth had resided in Wind Ridge for over 50 years prior to moving to Waynesburg in 2004.She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church in Richhill Twp. and a member of the United Methodist Women of the church.Ms. Booth was a 20 year employee of the former Caldwell's department store in Washington and was last employed as a salesperson at the former Troutman's department store, also in Washington, for 15 years prior to retiring in 1984.She enjoyed crocheting, driving and traveling the U.S. and memories of her trip to Cuba.Surviving is a sister, Mildred Davis of Godfrey, IL. several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents are three brothers, Harry W., Bernard Earl and Howard Leslie Booth; three sisters, Edna Arnold, Mary Wiley and Nellie Mae Smith.Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 with Rev. Bruce Judy officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Twp. Greene Co. Pa.
