Faye Willadean Rhome

Faye W. Rhome, 88, of Moundsville, W.Va. (formerly of Cameron (Rock Lick), died at 5:40 a.m. Sunday, February 14, 2016 in the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W.Va. after being in failing health for the past three years.

She was born November 20, 1927 in Cameron and daughter of the late Austin Russell and Gladys Gertrude Stuckey Frye and had resided in the Cameron area all her life prior to moving to Moundsville.

Mrs. Rhome was a member of the Crabapple Community Church.

She enjoyed raising flowers, crossword puzzles and needlepoint as long as her health permitted.

On October 15, 1960 she married William Leslie Rhome who died June 17, 2000.

Surviving are a daughter, Loretta L. Rhome of Moundsville, W.Va.; two brothers, Austin Richard and Vernon Glen Frye, both of Moundsville; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a son, David Wayne Rhome, who died July 2, 1987; three sisters, Beulah Slick, June Sloan and Texie Reynolds; a brother, Robert Gene Frye.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville, Pa. with Rev. James H. Jarvis officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rush Funeral Home, Inc., PO Box 388, Rogersville, Pa. 15359.
