Evelyn Pricilla Walker

Evelyn Pricilla Walker, age 93, of Sycamore, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Waynesburg Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born September 16, 1932, in Center Township, Greene County, daughter of the late Clyde Arden and Mary Elizabeth (Anderson) Iams.

Evelyn had resided in Greene County her whole life. She was a former member of the former Hopewell United Methodist Church. Evelyn was also a member of the Waynesburg Moose Lodge Auxiliary #888 and the American Legion Post #330 Auxiliary. She graduated from Rogersville High School in 1950. Evelyn married Charles Eugene Walker on December 18, 1960, and they were happily married for 38 years until his passing on February 10, 1999. She was a former employee of United Airlines as a Stewardess for eight years, after graduating from Airline Personnel in New York/Washington D.C. and A&P/Kroger grocery stores. Evelyn was the owner/operator of Walker Dairy Farm for several years. She enjoyed traveling the world with her sister. Her favorite places to visit were Australia, New Zealand, and Africa. She also enjoyed raising bloodhounds.

Evelyn is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Clyde A. Iams, Jr., Duane Iams, and Ruth Stewart.

She was the last of her immediate family.
