Esther Jean Eddy

Esther Jean Eddy, age 76, of Brave, PA, passed away Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

Born September 29, 1941 in Pine Bank, PA, daughter of the late Milton Elzie and Guidi Fern (Gump) Wise.

Esther was a life long resident of Brave, PA. She loved being a mother and a grandmother.

She is survived by, four children, Carolyn “Kitten” (Jeff) Hillberry, of Brave, PA, Judy E. (Albert) Rastoka, of Waynesburg, PA, Tom (Trish) Eddy, of Waynesburg, PA, Sean (Teresa) Eddy, of Waynesburg, PA; one step son, Wade (Theresa) Eddy, of Brave, PA; 14 grandchildren, Leigh Ann Stephenson, Danyel Braun, Travis Rastoka, Shawna Eddy, Courtney Welsh, Codie Rastoka, Richard Eddy, Dylan Eddy, Kendal Eddy, Austin Eddy, Dawn Henderson, Anna Eddy, Michael Eddy, and Bradon Eddy; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rosemary Eddy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Eddy, who passed away August 29, 2011; three brothers, Charles, Raymond, and Gay Wise; two sisters, Coral Leah King and Gayle Wise.

Friends will be received on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor John Dorean officiating. Burial will follow at Blacksville Cemetery, Brave, PA.
