Ellen Jane Crawford

Ellen Jane Crawford, age 86, of Kernersville, NC, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 while under the care of the Forsyth Medical Center, NC.

Born on January 21, 1930 in McCracken, PA, she is the daughter of the late Stella Cook.

Ellen attended the Aleppo High School. She was one for 14 siblings in her family. After moving to North Carolina, she was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC where she was involved with the widows ministry.

Surviving are her children, Rev. Gary (Barbara) Crawford, of Holbrook, PA, Samuel (Clara) Crawford, of Pine Bank, PA, Sheri Crawford, of Monongahela, PA, and Amy (Stephen) Woodall, of Winston Salem, NC; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Crawford.

A private graveside service will be held at Centennial Cemetery, Aleppo Twp., PA.
