Donna Fay Tharp

Donna Fay Tharp, 81, of Midland, Pa., formerly of Greene County, Pa. died Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital, in Beaver, Pa. following an extended illness.

 She was born August. 23, 1943 in Richhill Township, Greene County, Pa. a daughter of the late Elbin and Elizabeth Finnegan Riggle and had resided in Monaca Heights prior to moving to Midland, Pa. in 2006.

 Mrs. Tharp attended West Greene High School.

 She enjoyed the time with her family and grandchildren, flower gardening and camping.

 On July 1, 1961 she married S. Wayne Tharp who died April 9, 2014.

 Surviving are two sons, Alan (Christina) Tharp of Elwood City, Pa. and James (Lori) Tharp of Midland, Pa. with whom she shared a home; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca (Andy) Moran, Valerie (Robert) Ranone, Emily and Jacob Tharp; several nieces and nephews.

 Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are 2 sisters, Jane Morris and Joan Hunter; 2 brothers, Robert and Frank Riggle.

 At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation or services. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Centennial Cemetery, Aleppo Twp., with Rev. Vernon K. Berdine officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC, Rogersville, Pa.
