Don Hewitt

Don Thompson Hewitt, 87, of Graysville, Pa. died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. following a lengthy illness.He was born August 20, 1915 in Richhill Twp., Greene County, Pa. a son of John N. and Lulu Pettit Hewitt.Mr. Hewitt was a musician and was fond of country music.On October 28, 1940 he married Bernice Irene Toland Hewitt who survives.Also surviving are, a daughter, Joan Hewitt of Graysville; two sons, Larry Hewitt of Stephens City, VA. and Randy Hewitt of Graysville; six grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother, Fred Hewitt of Graysville; several nieces and nephews.Deceased are four brothers, Dolph, Herman, James A. and John Hewitt; three sisters, Dorothy Williams, Virginia (Sally) Barnhart and Jane Whitlatch; a grandson, John Charles Hewitt.
