Cindamae (Lowery) Kiger

Cindamae (Lowery) Kiger, age 70, of New Freeport, passed away, Friday, October 10, 2025, at Washington Hospital.

Born October 12, 1954, in Waynesburg, daughter of the late Kenneth Lowery and Ida Mae (Lowery) Ackley.

Cindamae had been a resident of Greene County for most of her life. She graduated from West Greene High School in 1972. Cindamae was a member of the Place of Grace Church in Rogersville. She married Larry Kiger on May 15, 1995, and they were happily married for 30 years. Cindamae was employed as a home health aide with Green Arc for 10 years until she retired in 2020. She also tended bar at Bilmar’s in Bucktown. Cindamae enjoyed spending time with her dog, Sophie, making ceramics at Gloria’s Ceramics in Rogersville, and cooking. She loved spending time at Big Bear Lake and making baskets. Cindamae cherished being a grandmother and a Great Grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Mark Lowery, of Fredricktown, Michelle (Ron) Miller, of Simms, TX, and Starr Lowery, of Washington; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three siblings, John Lowery, of Waynesburg, Sally Eddy, of Jefferson, and Melissa (Buddy) Kinser, of Winchester, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and five siblings, Nettie McDonald, Stella Cratty, Tom Lowery, Carol Donaldson, and Eugene Lowery.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. PO Box 434 Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181, where the funeral service will be held directly after with Pastor Gary Crawford, officiating.
