Cathrine Cheek

Cathrine (Katie) E. Cheek, 58, formerly of Graysville, Pa. and Rogersville, Pa. died at 6:02 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2005 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. after being in failing health for the past two years. She was born June 25, 1946 in Graysville a daughter of the late Roy Ezekiel and Mary May Ruth Dougherty Cheek and had resided in Greene County all her life.Miss Cheek was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church in Graysville and enjoyed playing Uno, and was an avid Elvis fan and was a loving person to everyone. She was a former resident of G.A.R.C. in Waynesburg and Rogersville.Surviving are a sister, Erma, wife of James Cox of Clendenin, W.Va.; two nieces, Kristin Schreck and Barbara Carney; two nephews, Erik Cox and Phil Amos; and several great nieces and nephews.
