Carolyn Joyce (Clutter) Williams

Carolyn Joyce (Clutter) Williams, age 86, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly, May 6, 2025, in her home.

Born April 16, 1939, in Nineveh, daughter of the late Arthur Murray and Goldie M. (Clutter) Clutter.

She had been a Greene County resident most of her life. Carolyn graduated from Waynesburg Central High School in 1957. She Married Charles Williams on June 25, 1963, and they were happily married for 61 years until his passing on December 17, 2024. Carolyn enjoyed farming and raising cattle, traveling to Florida for the winter, reading, growing flowers, picking raspberries, watching soap operas, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by, two sons, Charles A. (Vicki Stitchick) Williams, of Rogersville and Chris A. (Shari) Williams, of Waynesburg; two grandchildren, Chadd A. (Krista) Williams, of Mechanicsburg and Autumn (Kevin Paugh) Williams, of Mt. Morris; one brother, Ralph (Judith) Clutter, of Jacksonville, Fl.; two nieces, Karyn (Scott) Poole and Julie (Brett) Fales, both of Jacksonville, Fl.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11-1 PM at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy PO Box 434 Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181, where a funeral service will be held directly after with Pastor Gary Crawford, officiating. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery.
