Barry D. Grecoe, Jr.

Barry D. Grecoe, Jr. age 72, of Graysville, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Washington Hospital due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on July 5, 2023.

Born February 19, 1951, in Beverly, MA., the son of the late Barry D. and Caroline (Veinotte) Grecoe, Sr.

Barry was a Greene County resident since 1988 when he moved from Raymond, NH. He graduated from Salem High School in 1969. Barry married Diana Furbee on September 28, 1985, and they were happily married for 38 years. He had an amazing relationship with the Lord and anyone who knew him could feel that love. Barry was employed with Ensinger as a Machinist for six years until he retired in 2003. Barry loved Harley motorcycles, working on his farm, watching deer, his antique Ford pickup truck, and his black labs. He enjoyed family camping trips to Camp Husky in Shapleigh, ME, going to the Moose in Waynesburg to grab lunch and catch up with his friends. He truly enjoyed the friendships he had made there. Going to auctions and repairing and collecting old clocks was a pastime of his. Barry was a history buff.  He was a man of very few words but had a heart of gold.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Amber Grecoe, of Manchester, NH and Michael (Bobbie) Grecoe, of Washington; four grandchildren, Ryan (Charli) Grecoe, of Waynesburg, Alexus (Jeremy) Clark, of Marianna, Elexander Baez, of Boston, MA, and Daniel Rivera, of Boston, MA; three great grandchildren, Wrenleigh and Oakland Clark, and Carsyn Hoyle-Grecoe; a sister, Heather (Martin) Angers, of Epsom NH; several nieces and nephews.

Per Barry’s request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 12-6 PM at the Waynesburg Moose Lodge #461, 140 S. Morgan St. Waynesburg, PA 15370.
