William James Gazdagh, Jr.

William J. Gazdagh, Jr., of Belleville, IL., formerly of New Freeport, Pa. died unexpectedly Monday, July 13, 2015 in his home.
He was born November 22, 1952 in Sewickley, Pa. a son of the late William James Gazdagh, Sr. and Wreatha Louise Owen Gazdagh Mason and had resided in New Freeport, Virginia and Florida prior to settling in Illinois several years ago.
Mr. Gazdagh was a 1970 graduate of West Greene High School and was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was an employee of the former DVM Construction Company in New Freeport, and was last employed as a Technical Data Manager by the Computer Science Corporation for over 34 years in Virginia and Florida prior to being transferred to Belleville where he resided for the past several years before retiring in 2013.
Surviving are two brothers, Roger Mason and his companion, Leslie Colaluca of Coroapolis and Brian Mason of Carmichaels; two sisters, Linda Kay, wife of Randy Morris of Jefferson and Wreatha Jean, wife of Dale Brock of Powell, TN.; a sister-in-law, Lenora Pickrell Mason of Akron, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents is his step-father, William James Mason.
At the request of the family there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa.
