William Hissey

William E. Hissey, 62, of Fredericksburg, Va. died unexpectedly at 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2004 in the Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Va.He was born in November 19, 1941 in Washington D.C. a son of the late Beauford Huffman and Katherine Campbell Hissey.Mr. Hissey had resided in the Alexandria, Va. area prior to moving to Fredericksburg in 1980.He was a member of the National Rifle Association.Mr. Hissey was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a specialist fourth class with Battery A, 2nd HOW Battalion,5th Artillary.He enjoyed computers and traveling to the shore at Nags Head, N. Carolina.Mr. Hissey was last employed for over 18 years as a supervisor with the former National Applicators Construction Company in Virginia.Surviving are Esther Lough (formerly of Greene County), with whom he has shared a home for the past 30 years; one son, David Wayne Hissey; one daughter, Constance Rene Hissey; one brother, Ronald Wayne Hissey of Rehoboth Beach, DE.
