Wilbert Wright

Wilbert Boyd Wright, 61, formerly of Kirby, Pa died at approximately 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2004 at UPMC - Presbyterian Hospital after being ill for the past month.He was born August 12, 1942 in Nineveh, Greene County, Pa. a son of Wilbert Floyd and Viva Gertrude Clutter Wright and resided in Greene County throughout his life.Mr. Wright was a member of the Waynesburg Eagles and graduated from West Greene High School in 1962.He was employed as a bus driver with Bower Bus Company for 21 years prior to retiring in 1995.On July 28, 1990 he married Shirley Jean Simpson Wright who died on April 12, 2000. Surviving are four children, Debra Kesner of Waynesburg, Pa.; Arthur B. Wright of Ruff Creek, Pa.; Nancy A. Wrick of Mount Morris, Pa.; and David L. Wright of Waynesburg, Pa.; three stepchildren, Laurie April Thomas of Waynesburg, Pa.; Tammy Jean Haines of Blacksville, W.Va.; and Rickie Thomas of Zephyrhills, FL.; one brother, Harold A Wright of Taylorstown, Pa.; one sister, Oretta Masteller of Valley Grove, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Jessica Kesner, Kristie Kesner and Ryan Kesner, Amanda Wright, Alyssa Wright, Jewel Wrick and Jenessa Wrick; five step grandchildren, William Eddy, Douglas Eddy, Dakota Haines, Tyler Haines, and Hunter Thomas.Deceased in addition to his wife is a twin brother, W. Floyd Wright, one brother, Raynor L. Wright and one sister, Virginia Louise Wright who died in infancy.
