Wanda Courtwright

Wanda Jean Courtwright, 69, of Waynesburg, Pa. died at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. from a cancer related illness.She was born October 6, 1941 in Cameron, W.Va. a daughter of the late Samuel Edward and Violet Leota Workman Neely and had been a resident of Greene County since 1959.Mrs. Courtwright enjoyed baking and watching professional wrestling.On August 8, 1959 she married Raymond Encil Courtwright who survives.Also surviving are six daughters; Donna, wife of Jerry Rex and Charmaine, wife of David Jolliffe both of Jefferson, Brenda, wife of Lonnie Scherich of Cameron, W.Va., Violet, wife of Darrell Williams, Betty, wife of Jason Hoge and Sherry Courtwright all of Waynesburg; a son, Terry, husband of Judy Courtwright of Spraggs, Pa.; a sister, Betty Joanne, wife of William Straight of Michigan; a brother, Samuel, husband of Mary Ann Neely of Cameron, W.Va.; 25 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents is a son who died at birth; five brothers and five sisters.
