Velda Miller

Velda B. Miller, 95, formerly of Aleppo Twp. Greene Co., Pa. died at 11:10 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2006 in the Community Skilled Health Care Centre, Warren, Ohio after being in failing health for the past three years.She was born March 8, 1911 in Springhill Twp., Greene Co., Pa. a daughter of Harry Ogle Masters, Sr. and Ina Mae Warrick Masters and had resided in Aleppo Twp. from 1927 until moving to Warren, Ohio in 2003.Mrs. Miller was a member of the former Mt. Carmel Church of God and enjoyed growing flowers, quilting, playing Domino's and cards.On December 6, 1927, she married Thomas Edison Miller who died on June 5, 1998. Surviving are two sons, Jack, husband of Genie Miller of Marion, Va. and Bruce, husband of Ruth Marie Miller of Nineveh, Pa.; two sisters, Iolene Masters and Helma Jean Dawson, both of Newton Falls, Ohio; twin brothers, C. Wayne Masters of Newton Falls and J. Duane Masters of Rock Cave, W.Va.; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her husband are one son, Paul L. Miller; three sisters, Eshmael Rutan, Helen Sollomon and Lois Chermansky; three brothers, Harry O. Masters, Jr. who was killed in WWII, Darrell and George Neil Masters.
