Thomas Wilson Jr

Thomas C. Wilson, Jr., 82, of East Finley Twp., Washington Co., Pa. died at 5:05 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2006 in the Washington County Health Center, after being in failing health for the past year. He was born May 1, 1924 in West Bethlehem Twp., Washington Co., a son of Thomas Clarence Wilson, Sr. and Lillian Mae Crumrine Wilson and had resided in Beallsville prior to moving to East Finley Twp. in 1946. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church and a member of the church choir and served as a former trustee, Sunday school teacher and superintendent.He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S. Army Air Force as a private first class with the 51st Signal Air Warning Detachment and received the Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Wilson was formerly employed in construction work and was also a former employee of J L Steel in Aliquippa, Hazel-Atlas Glass Co. in Washington and was last employed as a custodian by the McGuffey School District at the East - West Finley elementary school for 19 years prior to retiring in 1986.He enjoyed gardening.On April 14, 1972, he married Mary Eleanor Cain Ealy Wilson who survives.Also surviving in addition to his wife are his first wife, Jane Hillberry Miller of Florida; two daughters, Brenda, wife of David Hensley of Greenville, SC and Sharon, wife of John Lindemann of Wellington, FL; one son, Thomas W., husband of Kathy Wilson of Detroit, MI; two step daughters, Ruth E. wife of Tom Crouse of Prosperity and Daisy Marie, wife of Bill Mounts of Claysville; one step son, Roy E., husband of Janet Ealy of West Finley R.D. #2; three sisters, Doris Terminato of Claysville, Sara Jane Conkey of Washington and Marjorie Kisner of West Finley; four grandchildren; nine step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, David Leroy and Robert Wilson.
