Obituary for Sylvia "Oretta" (Wright) Dille Masteller
Sylvia “Oretta” (Wright) Dille Masteller, age 82, of Valley Grove, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2016, while under the care of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, W.V.
Born on October 23, 1933, in Ninevah, PA., she is the daughter of the late Wilbert Floyd and Veva Gertrude (Clutter) Wright.
Oretta was a resident of Valley Grove, WV. since 1969. She was a member of the First Christian Church, West Alexander, PA. Oretta loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed taking care of others when the chance arose, whether it was family members or friends. She was an avid gardener and loved working around the house. A Loving Mother and Grandmother “Oretta” was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her two sons, Glenn (Joyce) Dille, and Ronald (Virginia) Dille both of Valley Grove, WV; three daughters, Thresa (David) Henderson and Linda (Paul) Winters also of Valley Grove, WV., and Karen (Michael) Antill of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Harold (Norma Jean) Wright, Taylorstown, PA; along with her thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her two husbands, Alvin Blaine Dille and Rodrick Paul Masteller; three brothers, W. Floyd and W. Boyd Wright, who were twins, and Raynor L. Wright; infant sister, Virginia Louise Wright.
Friends will be received Monday, October 3, 2016 from 3-8 P.M. at the First Christian Church, 124 Main Street, West Alexander, PA. 15376, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Bruce Graff, officiating. Interment will follow in the West Alexander Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC, 3275 W.
