Sarah Watson

Sarah M. Watson, 66, of Holbrook R.D. #1, Pa. died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004 at WVU Hospitals, Inc. (Ruby Memorial), Morgantown, W.Va. of complications from being seriously ill for the past 10 months. She was born November 4, 1937 in Center Township, Greene County, Pa. a daughter of Martha Jane Orndoff Martin of Sycamore R.D.#1 and the late Louis Harry Martin and has resided in Center Township all her life.Mrs. Watson was a member and former treasurer of the Missionary Society of the Rogersville United Methodist Church and a former 4-H member. She was a 1955 graduate of Center Township High School in Rogersville. She was employed as a secretary in various offices for Greene County for over 29 years and prior to retirement in 1998 was a secretary for the Greene County District Attorney's office for over 17 years. On July 7, 1955 she married John Charles Watson who survives.Also surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a son, Brett L. Watson of Morgantown, W.Va.; one brother, Thomas O. Martin of Sycamore, R.D. #1; three grandchildren, Amanda Kay Garet, Ryan and Sean Watson; one nephew, Brad E. Martin; one great niece, Jessica Lynn MartinDeceased in addition to her father is a nephew, Brent E. Martin.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Rogersville United Methodist Church, the GAMBRO Healthcare, Waynesburg or the American Kidney Foundation.
