Ruth Rayle

Ruth Campbell Rayle, 84, of Wind Ridge, Pa. R.D.#1 (McCracken) died Wednesday, November 12, 2003 in Beverly Health Care-Waynesburg after a lingering illness.She was born August 1, 1919 in Richhill Township, Greene County, Pa. a daughter of Jehu Elberto and Della Beryl Riggle Campbell and has resided in the McCracken area since 1959.Mrs. Rayle was a member of the Sugar Grove Union Church and was a member and past president of the Women's Bible Class of the church.She enjoyed gardening as long as her health permitted.On October 13, 1940 she married Duane "Bob" Rayle who died January 13, 1988.Surviving are two daughters, Judy A. Courtwright and Carolyn R. Kisner both of Wind Ridge, R.D.#1; five sons, Robert D., James R., Donald M. and Ronald D. Rayle all of Wind Ridge, R.D.#1, and L. Neil Rayle of Cameron, W.Va.; two sisters, Mary McClellan of Wind Ridge, R.D.#1 and Carol Bissett of Cameron Star Rt., Waynesburg; four brothers, Richard Campbell of Erie, Kermit Campbell of Pittsburgh, Phillip and Fred Campbell both of Wind Ridge; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.Deceased in addition to her husband are two sisters, Wilda Ewing and Evelyn Wirtner; two brothers, William and Ronald Campbell.
