Russell D. Crawford, Jr., 54, of Holbrook, Pa. R.D.#1 (Pine Bank) died Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 11:30 p.m. in the Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. after being seriously ill since December 2002.He was born May 10, 1949 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of Russell Duane Crawford, Sr. of Holbrook, R.D.#1 (Pine Bank) and the late Elva Alma Kimble Crawford.Mr. Crawford was a former resident of Pittsburgh and has resided in the Pine Bank area most of his life.He was formerly employed by the Jenkins Arcade in Pittsburgh, Miner Brothers Landscaping, United Cemetery and Gateway Forestry and was last employed by the former Green Lawn Care of Mather, Pa.Mr. Crawford was an avid hunter as long as his health permitted.On May 17, 1967 he married Lucy Jane Eddy Crawford who survives.Surviving in addition to his wife and father are, a son, Russell James "Bub" Crawford at home, two daughters, Elva Mathew of Sycamore, R.D.#1 and Beatrice Linda Wisniewski of Rogersville; three brothers, Archie "Newt" Crawford of Brave, James B. "Jimbo" Crawford of Pittsburgh and Bernard Crawford of Holbrook; one sister, Kathryn "Kitty" Kozak of Washington, Pa.; four grandchildren, Katherine Marie Linda Mathew, Sylvia Ann Mathew, William Earl Mathew and Sheila Faye Wisniewski; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his mother, who died January 17, 1999 are a daughter, Lucy Sarann Crawford in died in infancy in 1969; two brothers, Donald Franklin Crawford, Sr. who died January 3, 1999 and John Jesse Crawford.
