Roy Isiminger

Roy F. Isiminger, 90, of Dearborn, Michigan and formerly of Springhill Twp. (Mt. Carmel), Greene Co. Pa. died Saturday, January 19, 2008 in the Oakwood Skilled Nursing Home in Dearborn, MI. He was born May 30, 1917 in Springhill Twp. (Mt. Carmel), Greene Co., Pa. a son of Henry and Lucinda Whipkey Isiminger. And he had resided in Michigan since the end of WWII. Mr. Isiminger was a graduate of Cameron High School and had attended Fairmont (W.Va.) College. He was a WWII veteran of the Merchant Marines. Mr. Isiminger was a member of Wick Road Baptist Church in Dearborn. He was last employed as an engineer by Ford Motor Company in Detroit for over thirty years prior to retirement. Mr. Isiminger was married to Blanche Moose Isiminger who died on June 3, 1987. Surviving are two sisters, Margaret Moninger of Aleppo Twp. and Helen A. Bakey of Springhill Twp. (Mt. Carmel); one brother, Paul Isiminger of Dearborn; several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife are three brothers, Anon, Jacob and Edison Isiminger; two sisters, Inzie Gray and Alma King. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc., Rogersville, Pa. where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2008 with Pastor Jack Gray officiating.
